“Secretary yells quite a bit. Principal doesn't support all curriculum areas equally. Teachers teach as best they can under the circumstances.” This review was posted by a other.

“Eastwood is a good school due to the high parent involvement and commitment of many teachers and their principal. I would like to see the Music Education Program, headed by the most talented Middle School Band Director, Mr. Sean Gohn continue next year. Music is a vital part of our childrens early education, and Mr. Gohn has put together an outstanding after school program for our students. Hats off to Mr. Gohn, Mrs. Cantu and Dr. Begtrup!” This review was posted by a parent.

“I have two children attending Eastwood right now another one who attended and is in Jr. high now. Eastwood is a wonderful school one of my children attended a school in another district and I have to say Eastwood is hands down far better in every way. The parent involvement is wonderful at Eastwood. The principal has an amazing way with the kids and all seem to love her. She makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. The teachers I have dealt with are all very helpful and willing to go en extra step if the child needs it. I am happy that my three sons have had the opportunity to attend Eastwood.” This review was posted by a parent.

“My kids attended Eastwood for the 1st time this past year. Their has been a great improvement in their behavior as well as their academics. They enjoy going to school. The only complaint I have is that my [child's] teacher seems to have difficulty in handling certain situations and tends to send many of his students to the Principal's office.” This review was posted by a parent.

“The school provides a good overall education. I would like to see more music and extracurricular programs. There needs to be more administrative/teaching effort and funds devoted to a GATE program.” This review was posted by a parent.

“Eastwood is a good school. Most of the teachers are very good, some even excellent! Parent involvement is great...many parents volunteer daily. Extracurricular activities is very high, offering a choir, drama, chess club, sign language, and in 5th grade, African Dancing. The school provides several field trips throughout the year for all grade levels, with a week long science camp in 5th grade.” This review was posted by a parent.
